Each Joshtile contains both positive and negative "points of reference", together the positive and negative points combine to form the Joshtile. On a typical Joshtile, the exact center point and four corners of the tile are typically the positive points of reference. The negative points of reference are the surounding points dissimilar yet peripheral to the center.
Joshtile is an ornate tile with unique style, and symmetrical properties. When a Joshtile is arranged with identical copies in an array, a self-repeating pattern emerges.

In other words, the Joshtile has no meaning in and of itself, but maintains the simple purpose of bringing the viewer closer to the present moment, inducing a feeling of calmness, serenity and enhanced focus. |
